Provisioning Reveal File Transfer
This document sets out two options for file transfer using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) standard: Reveal provisioned and [client] provisioned.
Connecting
Reveal provisioned user accounts for FTP:
Hostname: sftp://files.revealdata.com added into FileZilla (installed on your Load machine)
Port: 2022
[client] provisioned user accounts for FTP:
Hostname: [client] provisioned URL added into FileZilla (installed on your Load machine)
Port: [client] provisioned port (typically port 22)
Workflow Steps
Open FileZilla
Add either sftp://files.revealdata.com or [client] provisioned URL
Add either port 2022 for Reveal or [client] provisioned port
Enter user credentials (user name and password) provisioned by Reveal Services or [client] IT
Users connect and transfer files from their source directories to assigned Load machine provisioned by Reveal with IP address of 10.0.110.xx
