Recursive Search
Creating complex searches in Reveal is made easier with the addition of recursive search in Release 10.1. You can chain searches together by adding historical or saved searches as a clause within another search.
As with all searches in Reveal, recursive searches are always up-to-date and will dynamically change to reflect new documents, coding, or metadata.
There is a new search type, Search, under Refine Search:
The search in the example above started with opening a prior search in Search History. By clicking More and selecting Search I can select a Saved Search or a prior search from History Search.
When I select an item from the History Search list the search expression appears below along with the date it was last run and by whom it was created.
Click SAVE to view the search selections. You may further refine the search, or choose to run it either against all documents or the work folder subset selected as the current context in the original search.
